At Best Beginnings we are committed to spending as much of your money as giving every child in the UK the healthiest possible start in life. We don’t have a big team and we are very grateful to the fantastic volunteers who help us to make a big impact. For example, all the films that you see on our website apart from ‘From Bump to Breastfeeding’ and ‘Small Wonders’ have been made by film-makers and editors who give their time and skills free of charge to support our work.
In 2009/10 nearly 85% of all money given to Best Beginnings have gone directly to making a difference. We won’t spend your money on big advertising campaigns or street-fundraisers.
The remaining 15 pence in the pound are spent ensuring that Best Beginnings run effectively and efficiently and raising funds to enable us to do even more in the future.
