Join our ‘Stakeholder Day’ on June 5th

Up to 10% of women will suffer from mental health issues during pregnancy or in the year after birth, and this can have a devastating impact on women, their babies, partners and families. However, with the right information, health professionals and families can make a real difference. Best Beginnings wants to work with you to create films that will empower parents, support the early identification of mental health problems and prevent many of the negative effects on families.

If you want to get involved in this exciting project Best Beginnings are organising a ‘Stakeholder Day’ on the 5th June in central London. You’ll get a chance to influence the tone and content of the films and your expertise will ensure the films have the maximum reach and impact.

We are keen to know what you feel the common themes are and how they should be represented on film. We want the films to be used by healthcare workers to explore the issues with parents, what are the key ‘touch points’, what topics would be useful for you? We also want the films to be used in training and development, how can these films increase the confidence and competence of the workforce?
