Our Chance Impact and evaluation

In 2016 Best Beginnings, together with SANDS, launched the Our Chance safer pregnancy campaign, supported by the Department of Health and NHS England. The campaign was designed to complement the wider maternity transformation programme and focused on reducing by 50 percent in 2030, the rates of babies and mothers dying. Read more

    Safer Beginnings programme awards £150k funding

    £150,000 of funding has been awarded to a portfolio of incredible organisations working to support women and birthing people to advocate for their maternal safety. This funding is part of the Safer Beginnings programme, led by Best Beginnings and the White Ribbon Alliance UK . Safer Beginnings aims to improve maternal health outcomes and post-partum safety of over 70,000 women across England, Wales and Scotland with a focus on reducing obstetric violence, domestic violence and FGM.
