ICAP Charity Day 2019

Best Beginning was lucky enough to have been chosen as one of the 26 charities benefitting from this year's annual ICAP Charity Day.

For one day a year, all revenues and commissions made by ICAP are given to charity. ICAP offices around the world take part, including London, New York, and Singapore. Since it began in 1993, ICAP's Charity Day has raised approximately £150 million for various charities across the globe. 

We'd like to day a huge thanks to actress Lorraine Ashbourne, comedian John Bishop, presenter Charlie Webster, Editor-in-Chief of Hello! Magazine Rosie Nixon, and Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, who each took to the trading floor for Best Beginnings, and tried their hand at being a broker and closing some deals (with some help from the ICAP staff!)

It was truly a fantastic day, with a total of 4.6 MILLION raised for the 26 benefitting charities. This money will help us to reach more families in 2020, and equip parents across the UK with the tools they need to give their child the best start in life using our free resources such as Baby Buddy.

The ICAP office had the most incredible atmosphere, both on and off the trading floor. It was a day I'm sure none of us will forget!
