Contract: Part-time, fixed-term contract until 31 March 2025

Salary: £38,000 Pro Rata

Hours: Part-time 21 hours/3 days a week (Wednesdays required)

The Role

The Project Manager will lead the Best Beginnings’ elements of the Women in the Workplace (WIW) programme.

WIW is a partnership project between Best Beginnings and Pregnant Then Screwed (PTS), funded by the Department for Work and Social Care. The project works to support women in the workplace in pregnancy, during maternity leave and on their return to work. Best Beginnings is providing support to women, mainly through Baby Buddy; PTS is working directly with employers. The Best Beginnings Project Manager is responsible for Best Beginnings delivery and overall project management (i.e. PTS also has a Project Manager for the employer elements of the work).

The postholder will be a strong project lead and use their own initiative to seek solutions and keep programme delivery on track. This is a flagship project within Best Beginnings that is intended to have a significant long-term impact on women and birthing people.
