The Baby Buddy App Best Beginnings worked with parents and healthcare professionals to create and develop Baby Buddy, a multi-award-winning parenting and pregnancy app. Baby Buddy's self-care tools are based on the latest research and evidence and provides trusted information to: support and empower mums, dads, and caregivers, build their knowledge and confidence, and help them take care of their physical and mental health during pregnancy, birth and the first year of their baby’s life. Baby Buddy also supports the work of frontline healthcare professionals and is integrated into the maternity care pathways of 48 sites nationwide. Insights from evaluations show that areas actively embedding the Baby Buddy app with commissioned support from Best Beginnings reach parents of all backgrounds and observe higher rates of engagement.
