My mother has suffered from mental health problems from childhood and never received formal support or help. She had postnatal depression and ongoing anxiety, which greatly affected my own life and that of the family I grew up in. I have supported her a lot over the years; she is now in a care home, and I want to turn my attention to fundraising to help young families experiencing similar problems. I have looked at a number of charities, and chose Best Beginnings based on the work you do, the pr
