Business leaders buy in to Best Beginnings

A charity fundraising event for Best Beginnings was held at the offices of international accountancy firm BDO Stoy Hayward in June. Business leaders, lawyers and city slickers went along to donate money and find out how their organisations can assist with long term fundraising for the charity. Among those present were BDO senior practice partner Daniel Dover, Best Beginnings Patrons James Sainsbury and Nimmy March, and the parents of footballer and supporter Theo Walcott.

Films about Best Beginnings were shown on a big screen as a jazz band played and drinks flowed freely. A raffle and prize draw raised considerable funds and a number of people signed up for regular giving. The event was also successful in making the first steps to getting corporate sponsors.
