The Newham Show 2019

Newham Residents were abuzz last weekend (12th and 13th July) at the annual Mayor’s Show, The Newham Show 2019 at East Ham’s Central Park. Young people and their families were treated to a plethora of activities and taster sessions aimed at promoting active citizenship and healthy living.

The Baby Buddy team were overjoyed to host a stand alongside the wonderful Children's & Young People's services giving out free fruit and smoothies whilst promoting the free, award-winning parenting Baby Buddy.

We also hosted a social media competition which attracted nearly 1,400 impressions and the lucky winners were Penny Montgomery and Qazi Jan, who both won a free baby photoshoot donated by Newham resident Tara Martin's photography company, who we thank so much for her generous donation and time. A huge thank you and shout out to the local East Ham & Ilford Barclays branches for sending us amazing volunteers Kaniz Hussain, Floretina Loredana, Michael Meshe and Sal who helped us over the weekend.

The Mayor’s Show is a celebration of civic life, community empowerment and social cohesion. We want to thank the organisers for the opportunity to tell Newham residents about our Baby Buddy App, to enable families to give their child the best start in life.
