Engagement Officer (Fixed-Term Contract)

A priority for the Best Beginnings Engagement Team is to grow our Parent Panel which is the “heartbeat” of the charity. Our Parent Panel ensures that parent voices and caregivers shape everything we do, and the Engagement Officer will be fundamental in this work.

The Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in all aspects of the Engagement Team – ensuring cohesion between the project teams internally as well as growing and strengthening our Parent Panel and ensuring we have active engagement from mothers, fathers, co-parents and caregivers of different abilities, geographies, income-brackets and ethnic backgrounds with an over-representation of people from communities that experience inequalities.

In addition, the Engagement Officer will play a key role in strengthening existing partnerships as well as building new partnerships with parent-led grass-roots community groups who share our core values.
