Head of Fundraising Contract: This is a permanent post. For a full time role, normal hours are 35 hours per week. We will consider applications from people who would like to apply for the role on a 28 hour per week basis. Salary: The appointment salary for the role is set at £55,000 FTE. Location: The organisation has a flexible home-working policy but as this is a team role, it would be expected that at least one day per week would be based in our Head Office near London Bridge. The Role The Head of Fundraising will lead on the development of a refreshed Best Beginnings Fundraising Strategy, which sets out our ambition to significantly increase our fundraising income by achieving annual incremental growth targets. We are looking for an ambitious fundraiser to join our small, but passionate team on what will be an exhilarating journey and an opportunity to make an impact very quickly. Clear, emotive communications and fundraising messages will be vital to the success of the fundraising strategy and the development of the charity. The role will work closely with the Head of Communications and Marketing to continue to build brand awareness locally and nationally whilst at the same time, increasing supporter donation and engagement.
