Alana Stott, Mrs Aberdeen 2018 and wife of intrepid challenger and ex serviceman, Dean Stott, who is also a good friend of Prince Harry's, is Best Beginnings newest ambassador.

She and her husband have so far raised more than half a million pounds for the Heads Together partner charities.

The team at Best Beginnings is thrilled that she has chosen to apply her energy and commitment to the cause of children and families across the country.

Helping to raise awareness and funds for Best Beginnings, will ensure that Best Beginnings is able to meet the growing demand for our resources that are helping to build parental knowledge and confidence across the country.

I am lucky enough now to be able to give my children the best start in life but not everyone has that opportunity and certainly where I grew up support wasn't and still isn’t readily available. I believe everyone wants to do the best for their children they just don't always know how. Best Beginnings are their for those people who really need it.”
