Camilla Warren, a London mum of three and inventor of Talltape Ltd rolled up height chart, is a long-term supporter of Best Beginnings.

Camilla is very passionate about storing memories of children's development.“Talltape was inspired by two friends moving house,” says Camilla. “Their stories made me realise I was not alone. One was so upset leaving all those memories on the kitchen wall, another just took the door frame with her!”

"I came up with the idea of a roll-up height chart that would be portable and would make a long-lasting keepsake to pass on through the generations" Camilla says.

Talltape was launched in 2014 and is manufactured in the UK with designs from emerging British artists . Talltape can be used horizontally as well as vertically and is now available in ten different designs and two sizes.

Camilla has generously offered to support Best Beginnings by donating £1 from each Large Tree of Life Talltape chart sold.

“There’s a gap between when a newborn comes home from hospital and when they first stand up,” she says. “Of course your midwife plots your baby’s height at the beginning – I had the NHS’s Personal Child Health Record, or ‘Red Book’ – but then there’s a long while until your child can stand. Talltape enables you to measure your baby from birth to adulthood, giving you a complete record for posterity.”

"I wanted to support Best Beginnings as I remember the vulnerability, bewilderment, exhaustion and isolation I felt when plunged into pregnancy and virtually submerged by three young children - everybody needs access to support and information at such a time."
