Our work

A healthy, happy life

We focus our work on the ‘window of opportunity’ from preconception, through pregnancy and birth and up to a child’s fifth birthday, where the foundations for a healthy and happy life are laid. Working in collaboration with healthcare professionals, and co-creating parenting resources, our aim is to foster healthy, happy lives for babies and children.

  • We provide reliable, accessible expert information parents can trust
  • We engage, equip, educate and empower parents
  • We train and support healthcare professionals to use our resources
  • We campaign, collaborate and influence policy

No two parenting journeys are identical, so we offer a personalised experience and empathetic, practical support tailored to parents’ and care-givers’ specific situations through our award-winning free pregnancy and parenting app, Baby Buddy. Whether you’re looking for information about pregnancy week by week, breastfeeding tips or mental health advice for new parents, the app is your ‘digital best friend’, giving you confidence in your parenting skills.

In our first fifteen years as a charity, we have helped over 3 million families.

Download the free Baby Buddy app from Apple store or Google.
